Bridge Bash: Helping Low Income Families Get Started this School Year

The Bridge of Lubbock hosted an event today for free clothing and school supplies.
The 5th Annual Bridge Bash is a back-to-school clothing giveaway offered to low-income families in Lubbock and surrounding communities.

Through collaborating with VOICES of the South Plains Community Coalition and 100 Black Men of West Texas, this event on August 24th, provided clothing and school supplies to hundreds of families in preparation for the upcoming 2013-2014 academic year.

Bodyworks and Mr. Gatti's provided fun for kids while parents shopped around. With free admission, children had the opportunity to rock-climbing wall, spider climb, get their faces painted and play carnival games.
