"I just started seeing smoke and all that coming out of the house," said Michael Roderick, who lives down the street from a house now severely damaged by a fire.
"I went down there earlier to see if anybody was in there and everybody got out. They got in the car, the lady and a man got the kid and got out," said Roderick.
The fire started at 11:45 Tuesday morning at 1905 25th street. More than six fire trucks were needed to fight the blaze.
"I am so afraid because they have kids and everything," said neighbor Connie Flores. "They say hi and everything they are so nice, they are so nice people all the time they told me if I need anything they live close."
Connie Flores lives right next door to the home, she says her heart is broken for her neighbors.
"When I come in I thought it was my house. You know I was shaking and everything because I thought it was my house I saw the fire and I don't know where it has been," said Flores.
The Red Cross says the family has a safe place tonight, but they are helping them with food, clothing, and baby supplies.
