Coldest Air in Five Years Over Lubbock, South Plains

Frigid temperatures will remain in place until Tuesday with lows dipping into the single digits.
LUBBOCK, TX - The coldest air mass in over five years is currently in place over the South Plains.  According to the KAMC HD StormTeam, one to three inches of snowfall could be possible across the area by Friday morning.  Caution is advised to motorists traveling into Friday morning.  Also, frigid temperatures will remain in place until Tuesday with lows dipping into the single digits.
