17th Annual Lubbock City Lights Gala and Light Up the Night 5K

Bryan Wakefield and Chuck Rotenberry with Texas Tech Health Sciences Center joined KLBK This Morning's Brittany Escobar to talk about their upcoming events benefiting the Lubbock community.
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine is hosting the 17th Annual Lubbock City Lights Charity Ball on April 26th, at 7 p.m. at the Lubbock Country Club.

There will be dinner, dancing and a silent and live auction.

Medical students will also host a Glow-In-The-Dark 5k race as part of the Lubbock City Lights charity event.

The race is May 3rd, at 8:30 p.m. at the Texas Tech campus.

Proceeds from these events help with TTUHSC's Free Clinic at Lubbock Impact, Lubbock Meals on Wheels and The Children's Home of Lubbock.
