Bill Snyder has led one of the great turnarounds in college football, twice, at the same school. The Kansas State Wildcats have made a bowl game in every season since his return in 2009 winning the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl last season.
The Wildcats Return six starters on the offensive side of the ball including quarterback Jake Watters who battled with Daniel Sams last year for playing time. That will not be the case this year as Sams transferred out of the program. He will have game breaking wide receiver Tyler Lockett at his disposal to go along with Locketts playmaking ability on special teams.
Bill Snyder’s Defense returns five players off of the Big 12’s 3rd best scoring defense and ranked 26th in total defense bringing back four of their six top tacklers from a year ago.
The Wildcats welcome The Red Raiders to Manhattan on October 4th, the Red Raiders have lost three games in a row to the Wildcats, but have never lost four in a row in the series history.
The Wildcats will be competitive in every conference game once again this year and will find themselves fighting to be in the top half of it by seasons end, and with Bill Snyder at the Helm I wouldn’t Count them out.
