Body ID'ed, Husband Arrested in Missing Woman Case

Lubbock Police arrested Danny Jordan in connection to his wife Shelley's homicide investigation. Her was body was found in field off North Frankford Thursday afternoon. Those remains were positively identified Friday by the Medical Examiner.
LUBBOCK, TX -- The Lubbock Police Department released this statement before 3:00 Friday afternoon:

The human remains that were found in the area of 5800 N. Frankford yesterday afternoon have been positively identified as missing person, Shelley Jordan. We now believe her to be the victim of a homicide and the investigation is currently on‐going.


As part of this on‐going investigation, this afternoon at around 2:20 PM, Lubbock Police detectives served an arrest warrant on her husband, Danny Mack Jordan (W/M dob: 9‐16‐48), for the homicide of Shelley Jordan. He will be booked into the Lubbock County Detention Facility, and at this time will be charged with one count of murder.


Lubbock Police detectives are continuing to investigate and process evidence on this case, and will determine if additional charges are forthcoming. The Lubbock Police Department would like to thank the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office, the Department of Public Safety, and the Crosby County.
