Chancellor Emeritus Hance Joins Carlile Bank Board

Fort Worth-based Carlile Bancshares Inc. announced last week that recently retired Texas Tech Chancellor University System Chancellor Kent Hance was elected to the company’s board of directors.
FORT WORTH, TX -- Fort Worth-based Carlile Bancshares Inc. announced last week that recently retired Texas Tech Chancellor University System Chancellor Kent Hance was elected to the company’s board of directors. Hance remains the Chancellor Emeritus and according to Carlile, and he intends to return to his Austin-based law firm of Hance Scarborough LLP.

“We are delighted to have Kent join our Board of Directors,” said said Tom C. Nichols, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Carlile Bancshares. “For as long as I've known him, Kent has been a natural leader with great business instincts and judgment.”

Carlile Bancshares, Inc. owns 27 banks currently in Texas and Colorado.
