City of Plainview Launches Facebook & Twitter Pages to Increase Communications

The City of Plainview has recently launched new Facebook and Twitter pages to help increase communications and outreach with citizens and anyone else interested in learning more about what is going on with local government in Plainview.
PLAINVIEW, TX (PRESS RELEASE) -- The City of Plainview has recently launched new Facebook and Twitter pages to help increase communications and outreach with citizens and anyone else interested in learning more about what is going on with local government in Plainview.
 
You are invited to ‘like’ or ‘follow’ the city by going to facebook.com/CityofPlainviewTX and twitter.com/PlainviewTX to create an account.
 
The city will be posting useful information related to City Council meetings and agendas, road closures, police and fire related items, and much more which may be of interest to you.
 
“The City Council decided during their Strategic Visioning Workshop in June that making dramatic improvement in customer satisfaction would be a major milestone for the city to work toward over the next 12-24 months.  This is a small step toward improving customer service and making our operations more transparent and available to the citizens,” said City Manager Jeffrey Snyder.
