LUBBOCK, TX-- Lubbock County Sheriff's Investigators were looking into the death of a 6-month-old baby boy Thursday afternoon at a home near 114th and Avenue P.

Lt. Bryan Taylor said a man, possibly the child's father, called 911 to say his child was unresponsive.  When EMS arrived on the scene, Taylor said the baby was not breathing and was pronounced dead.

Deputies put crime scene tape around the home and said four adults have been taken in for questioning, including the infant's parents.

Taylor said right now, they are not suspects or even persons of interest but they were at the residence at the time.

"We are investigating this as a death investigation of suspicious nature," Taylor said.

Taylor also said there were more children in the home when it happened, but it is unknown if they were the child's family or neighbors.
