Defensive Players to Watch in 2014: No.1 V.J. Fehoko

As Red Raider Nation continues its top-five list of defensive players returning for the 2014 season, Utah transfer V.J. Fehoko takes the number one spot on our list.
LUBBOCK, TX – As Red Raider Nation continues its top-five list of defensive players returning for the 2014 season, Utah transfer V.J. Fehoko takes the number one spot on our list.

“If you get one Fehoko you get them all around here,” said Ryan Hyatt, “We saw Sam Fehoko and we should get the same from younger brother.”

Brian Duncan is very familiar with the Fehoko family. “Dealing with the Fehoko family they train their kids to be stacked and strong. Sam Fehoko is the same way. This family is determined to get bigger and stronger as the season goes on.”

The Red Raider Nation believes V.J. Fehoko will transition well in the Big 12. “Any linebacker that can move his hips and can move his feet, have the ability to turn and burn,” said Brian Duncan, “Any linebacker that has that ability is an "A+" in my book.”

The Red Raider Nation is getting closer to Texas Tech Football slated for late August. They will have it covered right here in the Red Raider Nation.
