Discover the Dinosaurs, a hands on exhibit including over 40 animatronic, museum quality dinosaur replicas, and Ice Age mammals continues at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center August, 30th & 31st.
ST. Paul, NM (PRESS RELEASE) -- Discover the Dinosaurs, a hands on exhibit including over 40 animatronic, museum quality dinosaur replicas, and Ice Age mammals roars into the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center August 30th & 31st.

For the first time prehistoric earth comes alive in the 20 foot T-Rex, life size Triceratops, Stegosaurus, soaring Pteranodon, Wooly Mammoth, Saber Tooth Cat, and Short Faced Bear. Roaring dinosaurs fascinate kids of all ages in this touring exhibit, which showcases museum quality pieces along with moving animatronic dinosaurs and Ice Age mammals in their natural environment. This fun and educational exhibit is scheduled to travel across the country in 2014.

Kids and families are encouraged to get up close and touch some of the dinosaurs and mammals on display, an opportunity which isn’t usually available in museum exhibits and other dinosaur events. This is the cornerstone of Discover the Dinosaurs.

Exhibit Only admission* includes Dinosaur Exhibit, Dino Dig, Dino Den, Dino Theater, Dino Coloring area, tabletop Dino Mural, and Scavenger Hunt.Gem & Fossil Mining, and Face Painting are available for additional charge.

School age children love dinosaurs, and Discover the Dinosaurs engages the imaginations of kids to learn, gives them the hands on opportunity to touch a dinosaur, actually ride on the back of a T-Rex, and experience other fun activities & attractions that make spending the day with dinosaurs and Ice Age mammals fun for all ages. Exhibit runs Saturday August 30th 10-8 and Sunday August 31st 10-7
