Dusek Leads Tech to Seventh Straight Win

*** No. 24 Texas Tech shutout Prairie View A&M on Friday 8-0 to clinch the non-conference three-game series.
 
The Red Raiders (31-11) won their seventh straight game while moving to 20 games over .500.
 
- Freshman LHP Dylan Dusek pitched 6.2 innings – his third scoreless start of the season – with four strikeouts throwing a season-high 103 pitches.
- Senior OF Adam Kirsch hit his 6th home run of the season – solo shot over the left-field wall in the second to give Tech a 1-0 lead – the eventual game-winning RBI.
- Freshman CF Stephen Smith went 3-for-4 with two doubles.
- Junior SS Tim Proudfoot went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI while turning two double plays.
