LUBBOCK, TX -- Federal Agents say they arrested 14 in connection with a child pornography website, and identified three of the victims to be from Lubbock.
In total, they identified more than 250 victims.
"The primary target of operational roundtable, was the administrator of a subscription based website," Jeh Johnson, Secretary of Homeland Security said.
It was a sting that went after an online child pornography website based out of Louisiana. 14 people have been arrested in connection, including Jonathan Johnson, who Federal Officials identified as the website's administrator.
"According to the bill of information, from 2012 through 2013, Johnson administered child pornography websites out of his home in order to distribute images and videos depicting the sexual victimization of children," Ken Polite, US Attorney for the Eastern District of Louisiana said.
Federal authorities said the website had more than 27,000 members.
"Johnson frequently utilized and encouraged other members and up-loaders to access popular social networking sites to search for and then locate unsuspecting minor boys for the purpose of having them create sexually explicit videos," Polite said.
"The majority of the victims of these heinous crimes were between the ages of 13 and 15. With two victims under the age of 3," Secretary Johnson said.
In Texas, Federal authorities identified about 15 victims from cities across the state. They also anticipate more arrests could come in connection to this sting, both in the US and overseas.
