LUBBOCK, TX -- The 2013 Income Tax Return deadline is today, April 15th.
All tax returns must be submitted online or postmarked by midnight tonight or face penalties.
All Lubbock Post Offices closed at normal business hours so you can no longer mail your tax return via USPS.
However, the FedEx at 4210 82nd street is open until midnight.
You also have until midnight to submit your tax return using an online resource.
If you can not make the deadline you can file for an extension which gives you until October 15, 2014 to file.
You can find an extension form on the IRS website at irs.gov
The IRS website also has links to free online resources for your tax return or extension.
However, if you owe the IRS money they will penalize you for not sending in a payment on April 15th with or without an extension.
