Former Red Raider Smith Drafted, Three Others Sign FA Deals

It was the third and final day of the 2014 NFL Draft and while former Red Raider Jace Amaro heard his name called in Friday's second round, there were still some Texas Tech hopefuls anxiously waiting for their moment.

It was the third and final day of the 2014 NFL Draft and while former Red Raider Jace Amaro heard his name called in Friday's second round, there were still some Texas Tech hopefuls anxiously waiting for their moment.

One of those guys being Will Smith who will be staying in the Lone Star State as the Dallas Cowboys draft him in the 7th round at 238th overall.

There were a few other Red Raiders inking deals. Receiver Eric Ward will join the Tennessee Titans after signing a free agent contract.

Also defensive lineman Kerry Hyder will join Amaro in New York as he signed a deal with the Jets.

Linebacker Terrance Bullitt signed a free agent contract with the Baltimore Ravens.
