WOLFFORTH, TX -- Frenship ISD will hold public meetings with David Vroonland, Superintendent, who will address the upcoming $85.2 million bond election.  Three meetings will be hosted - the first of which is Tuesday at 6:00 pm at the Terra Vista Middle School in Lubbock.

FISD's Board of Trustees unanimously approved the $85.2 million bond election last October, in hopes of accommodating the district's growing student enrollment.

Approximately 75 percent of the proposed bond is dedicated to renovation and construction of new campuses in the district. The bond will also be used for buying land, technology, security upgrades, and maintenance.

There will also be meetings at 6:00 pm March 31 in the Frenship Middle School cafeteria and April 14 at Heritage Middle School.

The bond election for FISD will be May 10. Early voting takes place April 28 through May 6.
