Beginning in 1955, Charlie Prater started a tradition of preparing specialized holiday meals for his fellow West Texans.

His commitment to excellence and quality was an instant hit with the locals.

The reputation soon spread throughout, and Charlie began selling his products across the country.

From that modest beginning, Praters has continued to deliver excellence in quality and customer service that has allowed the company to expand and develop.

Praters is situated on almost 10 acres, and features a state-of-the-art 70,000 square foot production facility, positioning Praters to effectively serve customers needs for decades to come.

The Praters Plant (where the food is produced) is located at 114th and S. University; but you can pick up these delicious meals at any Market Street, United, Albertsons, etc. across the country.
