Micky Arison shouldn’t take it personally that the players on his Miami Heat dumped their warmups before their NBA plaoff game tonight against the Bobcats in Charlotte, N.C., and went through pre-game drills with their shirts inside-out.

LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and the others were just expressing their solidarity with the Los Angeles Clippers players, who also went through warmups with their shirts inside-out yesterday as a demonstration of their disgust for the racist rant purportedly unleashed by team owner Donald Sterling.

James has been one of the most outspoken active players, demanding the league take serious, meaningful action against Sterling if the audiotape of the rant released Friday turns out to be authentic.

“If the reports are true, it’s unacceptable,” James said. “It’s unacceptable in our league. It doesn’t matter if you’re white, black, Hispanic, whatever, all across the races. … There is no room for Donald Sterling in our league.”

The NBA is investigating the tape, which was posted on the celebrity gossip site TMZ, and league Commissioner Adam Silver said a decision is expected to be released Tuesday.
