(LUBBOCK, TX) - The Lubbock Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of an overnight house fire.

It started around 2:45 Wednesday morning on the 3300 block of Duke.

When firefighters arrived on the scene, the home was fully engulfed.

Fire crews advised the home was boarded up and no one was inside.

Dispatchers advised it's the same house where an officer involved shooting took place earlier this year.

Firefighters had the flames extinguished within 30 minutes.

We're told they are treating the fire as a "crime scene."
