Jalapeno Popper Dip

Market Street's Susan Short has done it again-- she's given us an amazing dish that will have your friends begging for the recipe.  And it's perfect for Super Bowl Sunday.  Or any Sunday.
Jalapeno Popper Dip

1 8oz package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 4oz can chopped green chilies, drained
1 4oz can diced jalapeno peppers, drained
1 3oz package Real Bacon Bits
1/2 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese

1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, spray an 8"x8" glass baking dish with cooking
spray.
Using an electric mixer, blend the cream cheese and mayonnaise until
smooth.
Stir in green chilies, jalapeno peppers, bacon bits,  and Mexican cheese.
Spoon into prepared baking dish.
Mix together the Panko and parmesan cheese; sprinkle over the top of cheese
mixture.
Spray the top of the Panko/cheese mixture with a quick spray of cooking
spray.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the mixture is hot and the topping is
lightly browned.

Serve with a sliced baguette, crackers, fresh vegetables, tortilla
chips,,,,,,pretty much
anything that pairs well with cheese.
