The final week of the regular season in high school baseball is upon us as teams position themselves for the post season... The LCHS Eagles have two games at home this week to close out the regular season.

The first of those games, was against Midland Christian at Eagle Field on Monday evening.

After a leadoff homerun, by Midland Christian, Brooks Pitaniello hit a grounder to second, that would advance Madison Davis to third.

But Grant Little got Tate Sparks to go down swinging, to end the inning with Midland Christian holding the 1-0 lead.

In the bottom of the sixth, Brock Ricks dropped one into left, and Adam Pena motored around and would beat the throw at the plate, to tie the ballgame at one.

The game would go to extras where Midland Christian would prevail 4-1 in eight.
