Loaned Executives Aid United Way Campaign

-- Lubbock Area United Way will announce the 2014 Campaign Goal at its Kick-Off Luncheon on August 28
LUBBOCK, TX (PRESS RELEASE) -- Lubbock Area United Way will announce the 2014 Campaign Goal at its Kick-Off Luncheon on August 28. Almost half of that goal is expected to be raised by companies that conduct employee workplace campaigns. These companies are aided by a special group of volunteers called Loaned Executives.

Loaned Executives are individuals "loaned" by their employer to work with United Way on a part-time basis assisting other companies with their United Way workplace campaigns. This year’s Loaned Executives have already participated in team building and training programs and are now hard at work delivering supplies, helping educate employees, and making themselves available to help ensure that each company has all the resources necessary to run a successful campaign.

The 2014 Loaned Executive Division is chaired by Jamie Gibson of Platinum Bank and is comprised of 55 volunteers. The vice chair is Tammi Wood of PrimeWest Mortgage.
