Lorenzo ISD is in the process of completing a new building to house the district’s new Electricians
Program. The program, working in partnership with South Plains College will be designed to help high school students obtain a basic electricians certification.
Hurst Farm Supply has awarded LISD with an initial donation of $50,000 with a commitment to an
additional $12,500 per year over the next four years. CEO, Joe Hurst, explained that Lorenzo is where his company began and he was ready to give back to the community where he received his start. Hurst is no stranger to charity, however. Each year, all seven communities in which there is a store benefit from the generosity of the Hurst Farm Supply Family.
