Lubbock City Offices Closed Monday; Holiday Schedule for Trash Collection

City of Lubbock offices will be closed Monday, September 1, 2014, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 2.
LUBBOCK, TX (PRESS RELEASE) -- City of Lubbock offices will be closed Monday, September 1, 2014, in observance of the Labor Day holiday.  Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 2.

Residential and Commercial Collections

In observance of the Labor Day holiday, there will be no cart and dumpster trash collection on September 1. Monday's scheduled collection is moved to Tuesday; and Tuesday's scheduled collection is moved to Wednesday. Thursday and Friday's scheduled collection should not be affected.

Citizen Convenience Stations

The following drop-off Recycling and Citizen Convenience Stations will be closed:
1631 84th Street
208 Municipal Drive
7308 Milwaukee
4307 Adrian

Landfill

The West Texas Region Disposal Facility and the Caliche Canyon Landfill will be closed.
