Lubbock County Inmate Escapes

Deputies hunt for a Lubbock County inmate who escaped in a County vehicle Tuesday morning

LUBBOCK, TX -- Lubbock County Sheriff's Deputies are looking for an inmate who escaped around 11:00 Tuesday morning from the Lubbock County Jail.

Initial reports say Randy Allen Williams,49, escaped in a Lubbock County truck. The Ford F-150 is white with a light bar on top, has "Lubbock County Fleet Services" marked on the side, and the number 7920 is on the back tailgate.

Deputies are spanning the county trying to locate him.  According to his jail booking sheet Williams lives in the 1600 block of 114th Street. 

He was held for DWI, theft, and possession of a small quantity of a controlled substance.
