The dust and wind wreaked havoc on the South Plains yesterday, in turn, forcing the postponement of several baseball and softball games including both Coronado teams.

The baseball team hosted the Midland High Bulldogs this afternoon.

Top of the first, with two runners on and no outs, Midland led 2-0 when Jackson Lancaster grounded past the third baseman to bring in two runs for the Bulldogs.

Then in the bottom of the inning, Tyler Blackwell got a high bounce up the middle bringing in two for the mustangs pulling them within one at 4-3.

Later in the top of the third, Midland had extended its lead to 7-3 when Lance White crushed a three-run homer to left field putting the Bulldogs up 10-4 at that point. They went on to cruise past the Mustangs by the final of 14-4.
