LISD officials say the 15 year old boy is now in stable condition at UMC. Reports indicate the driver was not at fault.
LUBBOCK, TX -- A Monterey High School student was struck by a car Friday morning while crossing the street to get to school.
The 15 year old boy is said to have stepped out into the street at the 3200th block of 50th St, right in front of a car traveling eastbound.
LISD officials say as of right now, nothing indicates that the driver was at fault.
The teenager was rushed to UMC, where school officials say he's in stable condition. He's expected to make a full recovery.
