A week after dropping two Mid-week contests, the Red Raiders ran their winning streak to 4 games after a 4-1 extra inning win at Oral Roberts.
Tech swept the Golden Eagles earlier this season in Lubbock.
The Red Raiders got a good start from Corey Taylor who went 3 and two-thirds-innings striking out five, without giving up a run to keep it scoreless through 3 innings.
But in the 4th Adam Kirsch doubled to left scoring Bryant Burleson to give Tech the 1-0 lead, one of his 3 doubles on the night for kirsch.
In the bottom of the 6th Oral Roberts responded, as Jose Trevino grounded into the fielders choice, but it was enough to tie the game at 1.
It would stay there until the 12th, when a wild pitch, another Kirsch double and Alec Humphreys sac fly, plated three Red Raider runs as the Red raiders left town with a 4-1 win.
