The Red Raiders will report to camp tomorrow, before opening practice on Monday at 6:15pm.
Fall camp will consist of 23 practices, including four two-a-day practices, with none of the practices open to fans or media.
It has been 215 days since they took down the 14th ranked Arizona State Sundevils in the Holiday Bowl and senior wide receiver Bradley Marquez, is ready to put that hard work in the summer, on display this fall.
“We work twelve months for thirteen games,” Marquez said, “So now that it's right around the corner, we can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel to get the season kicked off. We are excited about that, because it’s been a lot of hard work since December, our last game, so uh, we're excited to get the season kicked off."
Running Back and linebacker Kenny Williams is ready for a big fall and has seen the hard work first hand this offseason.
"It's been one of the hardest working summers since I've been around, William said. “Guys are buying into the program a lot, and I'm just ready to get this thing rolling."
Texas Tech opens the season on August 30th against the Central Arkansas Bears at Jones AT&T stadium.
