LUBBOCK, TX -- Slaton ISD proposed a 15 million dollar bond package for school maintenance and adding a new vocational career and technology center to the high school.

The bond failed 432 to 412 in the May 10, 2014 election.

Slaton ISD Superintendent, Julee Becker, is hopeful the school board can find another way to make the improvements in the district.
