LUBBOCK,TX- Finding clothes that fit can be hard.

Some pants are too long, blouses are too small and dresses can reach dangerously high limits.

But for 3 week old twins Knatalye Hope and Adeline Faith Mata clothes do not fit at all.

The girls weigh a combined 7 lbs and 10 oz, and they are conjoined at the diaphragm.

They were born April 11th at a hospital in Houston.

They can have their separation ceremony when they are 10 months old, but until then they need something to wear.

That is where Texas Tech fashion major Alicia McDonald steps in.

The junior was given permission and funding by the dean of her college to fly to Houston and measure the girls, so McDonald could make special clothing for the twins.

This morning we surprised the twins' father John Mata on Skype.

Watch the video above to see his reaction.
