Protecting the Earth is a job that everyone can do and technology is now helping accomplish that goal with apps that help the “Go Green” movement.
iRecycle is an app that allows the user to receive instant access to more than one million ways to recycle just about anything.
The app has recycling ides for everything from air plane seats to old fire hoses. There are articles, recipes and even style ideas to go from trash to treasure.

Locavore is another Earth Day friendly app. Any idea what the word “locavore” means? By definition, a Locavore is a person interested in eating food that is locally produced and grown within 100 miles from point of purchase. Hence the name of the app.
The Locavore app makes it easier to find local, in season food at farmer's markets and farms. Locate a fresh food place, get directions, and info on how to go greens.

The GoodGuide app allows the user to scan the barcode for more than 120,000 products.
Once scanned information pops up on the safety, healthy and socially responsibility of an items.
The information is based on scientific ratings. GoodGuide is a free app on IOS and Android app.
