(DALLAS, TX)- One of the greatest dates in American history is too often overlooked, even here in the Lone Star State. Sunday, March 2nd, marks the 178th anniversary of the signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence.

This weekend, Texas Land & Cattle is inviting steak lovers to celebrate Texas independence with food and drink specials that would make Davy Crockett, Sam Houston and Stephen F. Austin proud.

From Friday, February 28th, through Sunday,March 2nd, Texas Land & Cattle guests may enjoy a special Texas Independence Day three-course meal featuring a choice of appetizer (smoked onion rings or spicy white queso), side salad (Caesar or wedge) and entrée (9 oz. house smoked sirloin, 9 oz. top sirloin or wood roasted chicken).

The special price of $18.36 is our tip-of-the-hat to the year of Texas' independence.
