Red Raiders trying to eliminate Miami in the Coral Gables Regional. A win today will mark Tech’s first time in school history to make a Super Regional.

Ryan Moseley took the mound in this one today. Last year at this time Ryan Moseley was getting ready for a start at State with Cooper. Tonight he's starting an NCAA Regional Final

Moseley would start off strong with 3 pitches, 3 strikes, and 1 out. He would go on to strikeout Carey to start the game.

Texas Tech scored one run in 1st when Ryan Long was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded and Texas Tech took the lead at 1-0 in the 2nd.

Later on in the game, still 1-0 Red Raiders out in front, the benches cleared after a collision at first base between Miami's Thompson & Tech's Gutierrez.

Eric Gutierrez has been ejected from the game. He was escorted from the ballpark. Furthermore, Asst Coach J-Bob Thomas and Miami’s Asst Gino DiMare were also ejected.

If the Red Raiders lose, via NCAA representatives, the decisions wither or not to take action beyond this game will be made by the umpires and their superiors.

On top of that, a rain delay in the bottom of the 6th would hold the game at a standstill for 38 minutes.

Rain delay did not come at a good time for the Red Raiders as Moseley had retired 10 of the last 11 batters. He threw 82 pitches.

Moseley has pitched five shutout innings. Texas Tech still led at 1-0 in the bottom of the 5th.

After the rain delay the inning would end with Proudfoot line drive out to RF and the tarp would come back out. The rain delay started at 8:42 p.m. CT. Grounds crew would put up good work for the second time today.

Game called tonight after three rain delays.
