LUBBOCK,TX- Texas Tech University and Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt unveiled a new capital campaign for athletics Friday at a press conference. The Campaign for Fearless Champions aims to raise $185 million to enhance all 17 sports in Texas Tech athletics.
The most significant part of the campaign is to make renovations to the south side of the stadium and athletic complex. The plan is to also build new indoor practice facilities for football and track. There are 25 facility projects total, some major, like the football stadium, and some minor like adding new video boards to the soccer complex.
Kirby Hocutt said Friday during the press conference they already have $75 million promised from private donors.
