LUBBOCK, TX- There are a few things you need for the perfect tailgate.

Beer, bbq, music and some Red Raiders.

But what about a couch? A bar? Or even a fan to blow away the West Texas dust and heat?

That's all included in BoxGate, a shipping container re-purposed into a tailgating mecca.

The idea came from two former Texas Tech athletes Sheryl Estes and Jane't Howey.

Estes ran track, Howey was on the basketball team.

The entrepreneurs turned their love of sports into a business hoping to lease out 30 BoxGate's to Tech for the upcoming season.

But they are not stopping there.

Estes and Howey said they want BoxGates at all Big 12 and SEC schools.
