Tiger Woods is the most dominant player in golf of this generation and he has been able to win all around the world, but few places have been as comforting to Tiger as the fairways of the south course, at Firestone Country Club collecting six wins there.
Tiger was just two shots off the lead coming into Friday's round, sitting behind Webb Simpson.
He wasted no time today putting his 2nd shot at the par 4, 1st to about three feet of the hole to move to 5-under.
On the very next hole the par 5, 2nd, Tiger drained an eagle putt to go to 3-under. He would be 4-under through three holes.
Then on the back nine he would continue his tear with birdies at 10, 11, 12 and 13, going 9-under through 13 holes and making a run at the 59. However he would par out to finish the day at 13-under par for the tournament. Seven shots clear of last year's champion Keegan Bradley. So, Tiger takes the lead heading to the weekend which you can see right here on KLBK.
