Two tornado warnings were issued briefly for rural Floyd County Saturday evening
LUBBOCK, TX -- A tornado warning was issued early Saturday evening for a storm in northern Floyd County. The first warning had no more than expired at 6:15 pm when another warning was issued a little bit east of the previous warning until 7:00 pm.
The warning area covered rural areas of the county – not any towns or cities. People who witnessed the storm reported “egg” size hail. Someone posted an image to shareit.everythinglubbock.com showing hail with a diameter of roughly 4 inches.
At this time damage reports have not come in.
