LUBBOCK, TX -- Gregory James Flohr, 54, of Phoenix, AZ pleaded guilty Friday in Lubbock to one count of transportation of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. In July Flohr purchased a new mobile phone for himself and one for a girl with him. The T-mobile employee called police and Flohr was later found in Hockley County where he was arrested. Court records said Flohr sexually abused the girl for three years before he was arrested. Flohr will be sentenced at a later date to no more than 30 years in federal prison.
Scott Brandon Hutcheson, 37, of Lubbock pleaded guilty Friday before to one count of transportation of child pornography. Hutcheson sent an image by email to the wife of someone he knew.
A written statement from federal prosecutors said, "The image depicted the recipient’s son, age four or five, eating an ice cream cone. The image, however, had been modified to make it appear the child was engaged in sexually explicit conduct."
The name of child appeared as part of the image, and the email indicated it had been published on the internet. Court records did not ssay why Hutcheson modified the image and emailed it.
Hutcheson will be sentenced at a later date to no more than 20 years in federal prison.
