Two West Texas Legal Legends to be Honored at Texas Tech Law

Texas Tech University Chancellor Kent R. Hance and Lubbock attorney James H. Milam will be inducted as West Texas Legal Legends on Friday at 4:00 pm in the Lanier Auditorium at the TTU School of Law.
LUBBOCK, TX -- Texas Tech University Chancellor Kent R. Hance and Lubbock attorney James H. Milam will be inducted as West Texas Legal Legends on Friday at 4:00 pm in the Lanier Auditorium at the TTU School of Law.

The law school's Dean Darby Dickerson, the Beaumont Foundation and Wayne and Dana Reaud will host a reception in the School of Law Forum area.

Wayne Reaud, a 1974 TTU Law graduate, and his wife Dana established the West Texas Legal Legends Scholarships in 2004 to celebrate West Texas lawyers who have made an impact according to a statement from the law school. These scholarships, each requiring a minimum endowment of $250,000, are awarded to law students based on academic promise and commitment to service.
