Vehicle Burglar Took Up to $5,000 Cash; LPD Releases Photos

Lubbock Police asked for help Tuesday morning to identify a vehicle burglary suspect.
LUBBOCK, TX -- Lubbock Police asked for help Tuesday morning to identify a vehicle burglary suspect. Images of the suspect and his vehicle were released along with a written statement. The burglary was on February 21 at 2:16 pm; the location was the CVS Pharmacy at 608 North Slide Road.

A police report said the victim was a 67-year-old woman; the burglar took up to $5,000 and a purse from her SUV.

An official statement said, “A white male approximately 6’00” wearing a yellow button down shirt and jeans committed a vehicle burglary.”

It also said, “The suspect was driving a silver Chevrolet pickup with a black tool box in the bed.”
