Water Conservation Measures Start April 1

Effective April 1st through September 30th, the City of Lubbock will have its annual increased water conservation measures.

LUBBOCK, TX -- Starting Tuesday, April 1, the City of Lubbock's annual water conservation measures kick in. Stage 1 drought restrictions limit houses to watering their lawns with sprinklers two days a week.

    House addresses ending in 0, 3, 4, or 9 - Monday and Thursday

    House addresses ending in 1, 5, or 6 - Tuesday and Friday

    House addresses ending in 2,7, or 8 - Wednesday and Saturday

With the increased water conservation measures watering is allowed from midnight to 10 am and from 6 pm to midnight. No irrigation is allowed between the hours of 10 am and 6 pm.  Water must also be done without significant runoff.  People are asked to irrigate less than 1.5 inches of water per week.
