LUBBOCK, TX -- A 3-year-old, whose spent a lot of her life in and out of hospitals, is more than deserving of a week at Disney World.
Make-A-Wish thought so too.
When Ardyn Foster was just seven months old, she was diagnosed with kidney cancer.
She had to have one of her kidneys removed and undergo chemotherapy for many months.
During that time, Ardyn's nurses mentioned Make-A-Wish and in January of this year, her wish to go to Disney World came true.
"(It was) so much more than we expected. I think it was more than just the Disney (World), Universal (Studios) and Sea World experience, it was the family time that we've never had before," Ardyn's mom, Marlayna, said.
It costs, on average, $8,000 to grant one child his or her wish.
