(LUBBOCK, TX) - Fundraising is such an important part of allowing the Make-A-Wish Foundation to do what they do and thanks to one Texas Tech sorority, another child's wish will come true.
"There's a seven night trip to Panama City Beach, it's awesome. There's some lake house trips," Emily McDonald said.
"There's Kliff Kingsbury signed things, there's jewelry, there's a bunch of paintings, there's baskets," Avery Fowler added.
Both McDonald and Fowler are members of Chi Omega at Texas Tech.
The sorority's philanthropy is the Make-A-Wish Foundation and every year, the chapter holds a silent auction to benefit the non-profit.
"It's a really great opportunity for people to give back and kind of see what our philanthropy is about," McDonald said.
The fundraising goal was $10,000 or enough to grant one child his or her wish.
