LUBBOCK, TX - Wish granters are an important part of what Make-A-Wish does.
Wish granters are volunteers who interview children with life-threatening medical conditions and then help make their wish come true.
In 2011, Make-A-Wish granted Brady's wish to see the opening race for AMA Supercross in Anaheim, California.
That's why Brady's mom, Courtney, now grants wishes for other kids.
"I just saw the joy that he got and to know that we could have never done that for him. So I thought, I want to help other kids and I need to give back because so much was given to us," Courtney Hagler said.
Courtney's already granted three wishes through Make-A-Wish.
She just put in the paperwork for her fourth.
"I feel like I've gotten friends for life through it," she said.
Courtney encourages others to follow her lead and help the non-profit that's helped so many kids, including her own.
"It makes life ten times better. I mean it really does. I would recommend it a hundred times over."
