When we talk about Make-A-Wish, we often talk about trips to Disney World.
But for some wish kids, a trip isn't at the top of their list.
That was the case for 16-year-old Shaquayla Lacy.
"Shaq" has leukemia and she's losing her hair because of the treatment she's undergoing.
"The most things she was worried about was her hair falling out. She wasn't worried about the cancer part. She was just worried about her hair," Shaq's mom, Lakeshia, said.
So Shaq decided a wardrobe of wigs would be her one true wish.
Lubbock's Wig Trend donated six wigs to the teen.
She also got a day of beauty, including a full makeup kit and new nails.
"We definitely know that looking good makes you feel so much better, just your outlook on your journey and your recovery and so forth is just so much better if you have people that can help you look your very best," Daniela Hernandez-Salas with Wig Trend said.
