WICHITA FALLS, TX -- An arrest warrant was issued for Elizabeth Duerson of Wichita Falls who went missing on May 13 after she was convicted of intoxication manslaughter for the January 2010 death of her brother. Duerson has been out on bond while her case is on appeal.

A police report from Wichita Falls said Duerson did not take a vehicle, her cell phone or any clothes.

Last month, prosecutors filed paperwork to have Duerson arrested because she failed to take a Breathalyzer test for two days.

Her attorney’s response in court records suggested Duerson was possibly a prisoner, or in need of medical attention from seizures, disorientation or confusion.

The jury from her criminal trial recommended a three-year prison sentence.

Court documents said her appeal bond was revoked - meaning if she is arrested she goes to prison even while her case remains on appeal.
