(LUBBOCK, TX)- New details in Friday's shooting incident in North Lubbock.
Police say Daniel Moreno is now charged with aggravated assault against a public servant.
Neighbors tell us they heard gunshots at 3316 Duke St. and police reports show the son of one of the victims called 9-1-1, afraid for his mother's life.
According to police, Moreno and a woman arrived at the home on Duke Street demanding a 1/2 oz. of meth and accusing the other woman of stealing it.
Reports say the two women began fighting and Moreno hit both of them with guns.
Witnesses say Moreno appeared to have two guns with him and at some point, he fired two shots inside.
The report states one woman was hit hit in the head several times and the other suffered a broken jaw.
She was dragged out of the house by Moreno and was bleeding heavily when police got there.
Witnesses say the officer shot Moreno in the stomach when he refused to put his gun down.
Moreno and the two women were taken to UMC.
Officials say the victims have been treated and released but as of this morning, Moreno was still in the hospital.
He is held on a $500,000 bond.
