Driver Suffers No Serious Injuries After Car Slams Into House

Lubbock police and EMS responded to an accident Monday morning after a car drove into a house.

(LUBBOCK, TX) - Lubbock police and EMS responded to an accident Monday morning after a car drove into a house.

It happened around 7:30, near 108th Drive and University Avenue.

We're told the homeowner was inside at the time, but suffered no injuries.

The driver of the vehicle told authorities she hit a patch of ice and lost control, slamming into the house.

She was taken to the hospital to be evaluated for injuries.

We're told she was wearing a seat belt.
