LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech, in conjunction with Learfield Sports, announced Wednesday that four Red Raider volleyball matches will be broadcast on FOX Sports platforms this season.
“We are excited that Texas Tech fans outside of Lubbock will be able to watch this team during Big 12 play,” Tech head coach Don Flora said. “The Big 12 is always one of the toughest schedules nationally, so we are fortunate to be able to showcase half our home conference schedule in front of a television audience.”
Tech’s television schedule begins Oct. 2 when the Red Raiders host Iowa State on FOX Sports Southwest. It is one of two home matches to air on FOX Sports Southwest, joining the Nov. 6 contest against Kansas State.
The Red Raiders will also face Kansas (Oct. 16) on FOX Sports Plus and Oklahoma (Nov. 20) on FOX College Sports. All four matches are set for a 6 p.m. first serve at the United Spirit Arena.
The four FOX broadcasts give Tech five total television appearances this year as the Red Raiders were already selected to appear on ESPNU in an Oct. 30 match at Iowa State.
All Tech home matches not shown on television can be found on the official multimedia home of the Red Raiders, TexasTech.TV.
